Dark Knight

A warrior in heavy armour who fights up close and takes the hits for the party. Twisting Slash cuts through a whole pack, and Swell Life raises the life of everyone in the party.

Magic · Area damage

Dark Wizard

A master of the elements who burns whole packs of monsters from a distance. As a Soul Master he learns Nova and Soul Barrier, a shield of mana for himself and his friends.

Bow · Support

Fairy Elf

Fights with bow and crossbow and keeps the party strong: Greater Damage and Greater Defense power up her friends, and she can summon creatures to fight at her side.

Curses · Dark magic

Summoner

Weakens enemies with curses like Sleep and Weakness, then burns them down with Chain Lightning, Explosion and Requiem. Drain Life heals her with every hit.

Sword and sorcery

Magic Gladiator

Half knight, half wizard: swings swords and casts spells alike, from Power Slash and Fire Slash to Evil Spirit. He goes straight on to his master class, Duel Master.

Command · Pets

Dark Lord

A commander who rides the Dark Horse into battle with the Dark Raven at his side. He has a fifth stat, Leadership, and strikes with Fire Burst, Earthshake and Fire Scream.

Martial arts

Rage Fighter

A martial artist who fights with fists and claws, chaining blows like Killing Blow and Beast Uppercut, and roaring through crowds with Dragon Roar.

Events

Castles open their gates and monsters invade on the server's clock.

Jewels, wings and legendary gear

Treasures

In MU the jewels are worth more than gold. Every great item starts with them.

Jewel of Bless

Takes an item up one level, as far as +6. It never fails.

Jewel of Soul

Takes an item up one more level, as far as +9. Half the tries work, three in four with Luck; a miss costs a level, and from +7 drops the item back to +0.

Jewel of Life

Adds an extra option to a weapon or armour, or raises the one it has. It works half the time; a miss takes the option away.

Jewel of Chaos

The heart of the Chaos Machine. Chaos weapons, every generation of wings and the +10 to +15 upgrades all need it.

Jewel of Creation

Mixed with Chaos it makes the fruits that raise your stats. Third wings and the Dark Lord's horse and raven need it too.

From +0 to +15

  1. +1 … +6Jewel of BlessAlways works
  2. +7 … +9Jewel of Soul50%, 75% with Luck
  3. +10 … +15Chaos Goblin60% at +10, 50% at +15, Luck adds 25%

From +10 the Chaos Goblin mixes the item with one Jewel of Chaos and as many Bless and Soul as the new level is above +9.

Wings

Three generations, all from the Chaos Machine. Second wings need a Loch's Feather; third wings the Feather and the Flame of Condor.

Excellent items

Rare drops with bonus options from a pool of six, like a higher chance of excellent damage or life back after every kill.

Ancient sets

More than thirty ancient sets. Each piece adds to your stats, and wearing more pieces of one set wakes up its set bonus.

Socket items

Up to five sockets for seed spheres of fire, water, ice, wind, lightning and earth, in five levels of strength.

  2. Start MuMono.exe. If Windows says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway. The first start downloads the game data from this server and unpacks it; later starts skip that.
  3. Log in: click the server, type your account name and password, create a character and enter the game.
